About
I am Jim Baker and I have spent years writing software and working in the financial industry. For a long time, I have had my own company Siris Development, Inc. which builds apps and websites. I also ran a mortgage lending company called Baker & Lindsey, Inc.from 2002 until 2010 but it did not survive the 2008 financial crisis for long.
My current interest in cryptocurrency has come out of work trying to build apps for myself and others to access cryptocurrency and use blockchain technology. My unique perspective in both technology and finance makes cryptocurrency and blockchain technology a fascinating new field for me to both contribute to and explore.
Tyle Cryptocurrency – A Journey
While I write this blog, an important disclosure is that I (along with a fantastic team!) are contributing to a new cryptocurrency: Tyle
Tyle comes out of several years of efforts working in apps and trying to understand how to make cryptocurrency more friendly, easier to use, and used like money. Tyle is being created as the cryptocurrency of choice to do basic tasks like buy a cup of coffee.
Take a look at our current progress at Tyle Wallet, along with the company supporting Tyle and Tyle technology: CryptoSecure Blockchain.
